Conference background

The International Conference on Cell Biology (C-BIO 2026) will be held in Valencia, Spain, from December 2 to 4, 2026. The conference will bring together leading scientists, clinicians, academicians, and industry innovators from around the world to share knowledge and discuss the latest advances in cell biology and translational biomedical research.

C-BIO 2026 is designed as an international forum at the forefront of cell biology. Its scientific program encompasses cell signaling, dynamics and mechanobiology; cellular metabolism, aging and stress responses; biomarkers to monitor disease; interventional therapeutic approaches; and experimental models, imaging, artificial intelligence and computational cell biology.

The conference will particularly highlight emerging evidence on energy homeostasis and redox biology, autophagy and survival pathways, mitochondrial dysfunction, extracellular vesicles, non-coding RNAs, organoids and organ-on-chip models, and their potential applications in health promotion and disease treatment.

The 2026 meeting provides an excellent platform for presenting recent scientific advances, exchanging innovative ideas, and establishing international collaborations in this rapidly developing field. Three days of plenary lectures, keynote addresses, oral presentations, and poster sessions will foster high-quality scientific exchange among researchers from academia, healthcare, and industry.

The organizing committee and the editorial office of JGCMM warmly invite participants from academia, industry, healthcare, and research institutions to join this international scientific event and contribute to the Special Issue. Selected high-quality papers submitted to the Special Issue will receive an Article Processing Charge (APC) waiver, and conference abstracts will be published free of charge in the Abstract Book.
